This forum is jinxed! Now it's Keyless Entry.

Okay, so I read this forum everyday. lots of great information. However, I read about leaking third brake lights, then my third brake light leaks . I read about faulty 04 fuel doors, then my fuel door breaks and flaps in the breeze .

Well, now it's the keyless entry pad. I read some threads about problems and boom, I get locked outa my truck . The pad illuminates, but won't recognise the factory set code or my personal code. It locks, using the 7/8 9/0 button combo, but that's it. Keys and remote lock/unlock work okay.

Anybody any ideas? Can this thing be reset, or is it another visit to the dealer for another warranty repair?

As a precautionary measure, you better not read any of the vibration threads

No *****, i never noticed my third brake light leaked till a few months ago after another longterm member noticed his was leaking. I swear there were around 10 of us here whose trucks started leaking around the same timeframe.
Good news, if you want to call it that, is that at least here we know what has to be fixed pretty much before we take it to the dealer. (except vibe problem, cause no one knows for sure what the heck is wrong)
