Thumbs up Ive been stoned and lovin it!

Friday the 19th, my 99 Chevy Blazer was totaled in an accident that was not my fault and there were no injuries thankfully. Took the oppurtunity to get a real tow vehicle. My boat was really taxing my blazer. I really liked the look of the new Ford 150's. Did some research and test drives over the last week and decided on the Ford XLT. I had originally planned on getting a wedgewood blue/arizona beige two tone that i had seen but when I went to the dealer, I saw this dark stone XLT sitting in the corner, the clouds parted, the sun shone threw and angels sang. So I have a four day old F-150 in the driveway. It looks awesome. After years of having black vehicles and the associated problems of trying to keep them looking nice, I think I found the perfect color. This is a great forum! Have not been to my boating forum in a week!

Hopefully this link will work to the gallery... will get some better photos this weekend hopefully.

Sweet truck TXF150. I cant believe the awesome looking trucks everyone has. I plan on keeping it fairly stock but will see what the future holds. How does one get the photo to show in the message instead of the link? cant figure that one out...

You need to upload a photo onto the site. go to your gallery and expand it, and right click the photo and go to properties. Then copy the link that it displays in the propertys tab, exit properties. Then go to advanced reply and click on and insert the link there.

I have a dark stone XLT also....Love it....But I don't think its much of an improvement over a black vehicle when it comes to keeping it clean. Thats ok though, because when it is clean....man is it a beautiful color!!!

Awesome color. I know you'll be happy with it as I am with my new one. I ended up getting the Wedgewood/Arizona Beige combo myself, I looked for a stone one but the dealership had already sold all of theirs. These new Fords have got to be the smoothest and most quiet pickups on the market right now. Welcome to the forum.

That is an awesome color Brady. The dealer did still have a few of the wedgewood blue trucks but it came down to options for me and the Dark Stone had more of what I was looking for. I would have been happy with either color.

Looks great! Love the color!!!

I looked at the blue at first, too. I am glad that I went with Dark Stone.
