mudding is fun but f150's suck at it !

F150's really do suck in the mud, i have 33 inch tires and a levelling kit and it still got stuck pretty easily ! pics hopefully and also these :more

Better his truck than mine. Looks like fun getting it dirty, but I bet it was no bargain getting it clean.

You got stuck??
Are you joking that these things suck in the mud, i got 33's and i love mud holes, hard to find one to get stuck in.

Nice pics, and thats a nice truck.

33 inch tires aren't going to help much if they aren't "mud" tires.

The hole was pretty deep, it just came out of no where. I went mudding at 9 at night so the visibity was a problem [ without off road lights ] but the hole was huge. When i got stuck it kinda sank deeper and deeper and after 20 min of trying to get out i gave up, the running boards were no longer visible and only the top of the tire was visible. Also when i opened the door the mud literally ran into my interior. This was on saturday which had been raining all day as well [ effects of the hurricane ] so the muddy was really sticky and a pain in the a** but getting stuck is all part of the fun, i just called my buddy and he came with his 97 f150 truck on 40 inch super swampers he had no problem pulling me out ! Next few weeks hopefully will be adding a body lift as well as a winch and off road lights. Next few months fabtech lift and 40 inch super swampers ! [if they will fit] thanks for the comments !

yea, looks like you had a great time-- mud tires are a definite help!! from my muddin experiences so far, my toyo m/ts have no issue with mud- digs right thru it! and anyone following too closely when i pull out gets a good mud bath

yeah it might have helped if you had mud tires. I went mudding the other day and bottomed my truck out several times and my tires kept pulling. Good pics though

i like how "eat mud" is gonna be there forever... mud tires would have helped. that said, my truck with only a leveling kit hasnt gotten stuck yet. except pulling a 6k lb trailer in the sand, that doesnt count

Get a 6" suspension, leveling kit, add-a-leaf, and body lift and hopefully you'll be able to clear them.
