Question Which Exhaust should I go with????

I have a 05 Supercab FX4 and cant decide on what exhaust I want.
I really dont want a real loud exhaust but dont mind a good sounding exhaust.

1. Banks

2. Magnaflow

3. Borla

4. Super 40 dual side outlet Flowmaster

5. Gibson

I have been leaning toward Banks, but would like to see what everyone thinks. I also want a side exit wheather its single or dual. Not a big fan of the rear exit exhaust. So far the truck is stock with only a few interior and cosmetic mods.

Thanks for the info,

Ian

I love my Magnaflow -- I don't think you can go wrong with their cat-back systems!

Flowmasters are too harsh sounding for my taste, although I probably would have liked them when I was eighteen!

The other brands I have never heard in person, so I can give no recommendation.

It would be nice for those with these exhaust systems to post some pics to help usedtogm make an educated decision. I too will be facing this problem next spring. I am new to F150s and there are many things to consider.........SISO, SIDO, true duels, stainless steel, aluminized (not sure of the spelling) steel, and sound quality. Its going to be tough

Everyone has an opinion, so here's mine. I'm on my second Flowmaster on my truck since new. It's not loud and obnoxious. That will depend of course on the model you choose. I've gone with the 50 series delta flow, using the SUV version the second time with dual inlets and a single 3" outlet. This got rid of the very restrictive factory Y-pipe and gives me the power and sound I was looking for. I'm not 18 and looking for straight pipe loud, I'm 53 and the Flowmaster system works great on my truck.

banks all the way! I love my exhaust because it doesn't sound like a truck exhaust. its a very low tone and sounds like a sports car. i say get it, everyone has magnaflow and flowmasters. there is pics of it in my gallery.

I'd go Borla or Magnaflow. I chose the maggie since Borla is outragously priced.

Borla is a very very quality piece. I chose Magnaflow, which is very high quality as well, for not only the price, but dyno proven to make the best power/torque on our trucks according to Troyer Performance.
