Hi everyone, newb with 2?'s

Just picked up my 2005 lariat.
Beautiful truck as a side note. I however can not activate the rss, the off light is constantly staying lit. If i turn off the truck & back on the light is off, but as soon as i go into reverse the button lights up to off by itself. 2nd, I was under the assumption that the lariat had power folding mirrors, but seeing as mine do not fold electronicly was I wrong?
Any help would be great, thanks in advance.

Welcome! I don't know about the RSS. but, the Power folding mirrors are only availabe on the King Ranch models. But you could install them on your truck, but it requires custom wiring and a custom switch.

rss... well, do you still beep when reversing close to an obstacle, or is it entirely turning off? if you hold the button down does it work? hopefully just a faulty button, & can get'r fixed fast. elsewise, enjoy your truck!

Welcome to F150online.

If the park aid light is staying on, something's wrong with the system, most likely one of the individual reverse sensors or the radar sensor.
