Magnaflow help

Ive looked around but I need some encouragment. I just ordered a 16613 SISO from Hottexhaust.com. Will a 2005 kit fit on a 2004. Its not a heritage.
Please help. Did I just screw up? The exhaust forum has been real quit lately.

I am not completely positive but I think they may be different. I think I read a while back that there was a change made at some time. I think I remember someone saying up front in front of the muffler between the muffler and the cat back there is a pipe with a bend in it on the 05's and on the 04's it is a straight pipe. the rest of the system is the same if I remember right. you might be able to just call magnaflow and trade the pipes streight across if it comes to it. good luck

Depends on when your '04 was made. Either Hottexhaust or Magnaflow has the details on their site. Mine was built in Mar '04 and it takes the older version (15xxx) according to them.

The difference is in the length of the intermediate pipe. The intermediate 04s and earlier build 05s are longer. My kit actually came with pipes to fit both models.
