Fuel Condensator

hey has anyone put a fuel condensator on their new f-150? you put in the condensator in place of where the PCV tube is- how much do you think it would help on these trucks- if it will even allow it? we've got one on our superduty, provides gains about 3mpg, but was unsure of it working on out elctronically controlled system.

thanks- JJ

If at first you don't succeed, try, try, and try again. Then give up. There's no use being a damned fool about it.

well untill now I had never heard of a condensator. did a little search and found out. I see no reason you couldn't put one of these things on your truck. I am not sure it would helf on gas mpgs but it might. the people selling these didn't say anything about better gas mpgs. but they did say more horsepower but I doubt it would be much. but I could see it helping the engine stay cleaner inside eliminateing the crank case oil fumes from the gas fumes comeing from the crank case. I can see this beeing a vary good mod if you plan on owning your truck for a long time. I might just have to get me one. I hope it is not a gimic. heres a link to a description of this thing.

I call BS on that thing..........I just read the article on it and people claim all this power they have magically found and 7 mpg on that one pickup . Who are they kidding?? If I could gain SEVEN MPG by getting one of these I'd be saving about $25 a week! The only way this thing will work is on an engine with so much blow-by that half of the intake air it sees at cruise is old crappy air from the PCV system, and even then I don't see how you could gain THAT much. Now I can see how it could keep things cleaner by not letting the oil vapor that you get in PCV get back into the engine but all this "hidden" power that you get?? Come on.......
