Sandog53 or anyone with keyless knowledge, please?

I have a 3L2Z-14A626-AA keyless entry keypad. It's new, with number card, instructions, etc. I can not seem to get the Deluxe Alarm/RKE to recognize it. I can program regular keypads quickly and easily, but the keypad keypad does nothing. It lights up and seems to work, but the RKE/Alarm doesn't 'chirp' when I press the code, or the 7-8 + 9-0 key as you would to lock the doors. Again, it accepts the codes from my two fobs, pressing the lock button allows it to recognize them, and it chirps once.

Any insight or help would be very welcome.
Chris

He did sell his truck, so who knows how often he checks the forum? I would suggest looking up his profile and emailing him directly.

If that's a stick on keyless entry pad, then it operates no different than a factory keyless entry keyfob.

Ahhh Danielson, here is where it gets tricky. The stick on keypad will work like a factory keyfob only. As far as the keyless you installed on the truck, it works on a different frequency. So therefore if your truck does not have Factory keyless, your keypad will no workie. Sorry, but I have not been able to make it work either. I dont know that there is a way since they are on entirely different frequencies. BTW, you guys email me anytime. I try and check the board from time to time. I will check even more this winter cause I know you guys will be droolin to get your remote starts workin. Keep on Truckin, or in my case, 5 hundred'in!!

Thanks Sandog, that's what I figured when it wouldn't work. 3 vendors, and the instructions were wrong. What else is new?

Question though, what RKE can I get that this remote will operate? I don't mind 'parallel' RKE systems.
