Pretty simple fix for the AVIC-d1 owners. I'm going to give this a shot over the weekend. I didn't like my other fix I found. But this seems to be the answer to watching DVD's while driving, and most importantly using all the Nav functions while driving. For passangers only of course!!

On the edit- I ment to put this in the Navi thread. my bad.

it looks like for the N2 it's questionable, but it makes sense. The tech would need to test all the functions. I lucked out. I have an AVIC-D1 so I'm going to try the wire thing over the weekend. Hopefully it works. I don't have much interest in dvd's while I'm driving but the Nav feature lock-out thing sucks.
