supercrewsound subbox for 04-05 SCrew

does anyone have pics? Either the dual or single box. I want to see how flush it is with the front edge of the seat.

I posted here as well as "speakers & subwoofers".

Thanks.

I don't know but I would highly recommend one of their boxes. I have a friend with one in his 03 and it is built VERY nice and sits pretty damn flush.

I'm interested as well. I'll have 2 JL 10's to put in my SCrew once I receive it.

Wow, not a bad price. Now I would have to figure out where to mount the amp. Suggestions?

Do you guys find that the 1.5" clearance on the bottom is enough?? I push my subs pretty hard.. I'd hate to hear them bottom out on the floor..

I don't have problem, but then again, I don't push mine that hard. I have a 250 watt MTX Thunder amp running the sub, and the amp fit perfectly under the front passenger seat.

I have a box from www.topedgeonline.com. It holds my 2 Crystal Mobilesound CMP10s, but it doesn't exactly fit "flush":

Here is where I mounted most of my equipment:

I have more pics in my gallery.

Nice pics guys! I think the top edge box is out of the question...I don't like how far it sticks out.

About the sub hitting the floor (when pushed) most subs that will fit in these boxes will only have about 1"-1.25" of excursion and the boxes I have seen have about 1.5" of clearance...not sure if that's a "true" clearance because of the carpet. I haven't seen a box installed yet.

I was also thinking about JL Audio's stealthbox (but putting a different sub in it of course). Dang things are $500 though. Anyone have a stealth box to show pics of?

I have the single 10" box and love it. I filled it with poly fill and have a Audiobahn dual voice coil sub. It sounds great and hits very hard. I mounted my amp on a custom bracket that I built and it mounts to the factory holes that mounted the jack on the passenger side.

Why swap out the sub instead of leaving the one in it the box was engineered around? From what I've heard it's a DAMN HARD hitting setup especially for a single 10.

I'll vouch for JL. It's all i've used for the past 6 or 7 years.. have used others, but they never compared.

I'm just worried about Amp placement and the box sitting flush. I don't want to see it sticking out from the bottom of the back seat

And I have a Zapco amp.. its about 2 feet long.. won't fit under either front seat.

I had 2 10inch JL's W1 placed underneath the seat of my 98 ford f-150. An audio shop built the box and it fit flush with the seat. They placed a fosgate amp under the driver and passenger and they hit hard. I think this is the best route, have a local audio shop build you the box. Less headaches.

Lower end JL Audio subs are decent, but their good subs are the W6v2's and W7's. I've had 2 10W3v2's running off a 500/1 in my 2000 F150. Then I went to a 12W7 in a custom box, but loss the jump seat behind the driver's seat. The 12W7 was running off the same 500/1, that was a sweet set-up! When we had the baby, I went back to a 10W3v2 in a center console stealth box...and HATED it! So, I made a custom center console to fit a 10W7.

I can't fit a W6v2 or a W7 under the back seat my 05 SCrew (w/o a seat lift). Plus, their are plenty of subs out there that can give the W6v2 and W7 a run for their money. Also, I want a "plug and play" type box. I'm done customizing/building boxes...and not too many reputable shops (that I trust) will do the job at a decent price, because I' not buying their product...just having the box made.

I will be using a Treo SSI sub with a Elemental Designs NINe.1 amp.

The ProBox looks good.. Sigh.. I don't know what I'll do.
