I think I read where someone removed them with heat and careful peeling. I would try a hairdryer before moving up to a heat gun or other drastic measures.

Hairdryer for the ones on fabric. I haven't found any solutions for the ones on the plastic vanity mirror covers.

I park outside, 110F summers + Black Truck = Very easy to pull off the airbag stickers.

I did this about a year ago, you could still see slight markings of the outside of the stickers. I didnt use goo-gone or any solvents, i just let it be and it is now gone.

Maybe he doesn't exactly know the answer, but knows a good place to look for it. Sounds like was trying to help point you in the right direction. If you have a question, sometimes it is best to search and see if someone else has had the same question once before.

Remember, it is usually better to add to an existing thread than to create a new one, especially when the topic has already been covered.

The hairdryer method works great. Just take your time and keep the heat right at the edge where you're peeling. Mine came off easy but left a little shadow behind but that's almost gone now.

The best way to do it is to remove them as soon as you buy the truck so the fading won't be as bad, if any.

hairdryer

5 minutes to remove all 3 stickers...ever so slight fraying of the material underneath...but after removal use the back of some duct tape and press on the area around the now-removed sticker. Matches up the "fraying" perfectly.
