does the hayden fan controller allow you the fans to shut off at highway speed even with the AC on? What is the best way to wire this controller? Is it ok for the fan to run all the time?

 

The one I got (MadEnterprise) will shut the fans off when you are cruising/not needed. It won't hurt anything for them to run all the time with the A/C, it just runs the life out of the fan sooner (which doesn't really matter) and it is such a waste when they aren't needed.

 

on the hayden i just made the AC switch and override switch in the cab, the fans only need to come on wtih the AC if the truck is sitting still and not at operating temp, so in those few cases i just throw the switch in the cab until it hits the operating temp
