Silver truck with Arizona Beige Lariat rims?

I just picked up a set of new take off Lariat Arizona Beige wheels/tires. I have been running Lariat 04 Silver rims, and like them a lot.
I just lost a rear tire to a nail (tore the sidewall, allegedly) and thus need to replace the tire.
Best local price was three-five day wait, then 175 bucks to get one tire…
The four take offs with about ten miles on them came to 300.

Now my problem, should I swap to the new rims/tires or just have one tire pulled and swap it on, leaving me three leftovers.

I can’t decide if the darker centers and the AB color on the rims would look better or worse on my Silver regular cab STX.

Don’t want to swap them, and then change my mind.

Anyone have the AB Lariat wheels on anything Silver?
Opinions?

Oh, and my 'photoshopper is out for the day' so I can't even 'dummy' up a picture.
Thanks
Chris

You seem like a huge DIY'er, i would paint over the beige the same color as the rocker panel section on the FX4's

Whatever you do, make it look good

If your asking for opinions, personally on a silver truck i don't think the Beige rims would look good. I bought Lariat rims and was looking for the Beige (looks good with bright red) but could only find the silver.

Yeah I'm wondering.
How many miles have you put on the silvers?
I have 6k on my silvers, and the Long Trails still have the same amount of tread the new ones have.

That's what I have been asking, but since no one had any actual experiance, I swapped the rear ones. On the truck, they look gray, not beige. Strange. The silver rims look white by comparison. I may get a picture in a few.

I notice the AB rims are a lot prettier. The silver rims are silver painted under clearcoat. The AB rims are tooled steel under clearcoat on the five double spokes, and painted in the 'shadow areas'. The AB rims are a lot more 'silver' than the silver rims.

The center caps, have the same outer ring, with a different center insert. The casting is the same number on the chrome outer part. They just changed the disk. Might use the Silver centers on the AB rims, as that center is the only 'beige' that shows. The rest of it is in shadow.

Well, the decision was made for me. My wife dropped by the local Ford dealer and eyeballed a Silver Lariat with the AB rims.
She told me to put em on.

As I am lord of the manor, I responded, "Yes dear".
That way I can keep being lord...

Thanks for the input guys.

Hi kidtriton, I'm on the other coast. Shipping rims works, but shipping tires and rims cost way, way too much. Probably sell em local.

dzervit, I agree it sounds wrong, brown and silver, but there seems to be a lot of color in the 'brown'. What really seems wrong is these rims on the blue trucks. But they are on them, saw one tonight at the store, Dark Blue, and AB rims. Still looked pretty good.

Thanks Smok][n

oh yea, i just realized you still had tires on the old rims. Well, if you have any reason to get the tires taken off and keep them, let me know.
