Magnaflow Install?

Im getting ready to order the 16613 next week. Ive read that some of the kits install easy and that some need a little "help". Im installing in an apartment complex away from most of my tools...

Can this be installed, no B.S., with hand tools, or should I wait to install when I get back to the shop?

Thanks

This sounds very interesting...I'm interested in doing the same SIDO.

Hand tools are all you need. Start off by spraying all the clamps you need to take off with penetrating oil for ease of removal.

From my experience doing the install of my Magnaflow cat-back system, the only tools you need are a good set of sockets (metric) and extensions. However, it would help to have a floor jack and a set of jack stands -- especially if you want to get the factory exhaust system in one piece!

Having a buddy around to help with the install (especially with a SIDO out the back system) would also be highly recommended.

Should be fine with tools, probably going to find that yer biggest concern is how uncomfortable its going to be doing this by laying underneath the truck. Definatley wear eye protection man. If you have jack stand that would be a good idea to jack it up get it off the ground any little bit will be a big help I bet.

You might also want to consider getting some ramps and backing the truck up on them. That is what I did and it made lots of room to work.

Also, before you remove your stock system, be sure to use plenty of a 'WD40' type of product on the hangers. This will help the system slide out with less problem...

I tried to do it without it and it was a nightmare on one of the hangers.
