Tail gate dents

Just did the stupid thing with the tail gate on the F150. Was buying lumber and rested a board on the rear bumper then lowered the tail gate. Guess what - no clearance between the top of the bumper and the rear of the tail gate when lowered - result - dent in rear of tail gate. DUH! Don't do it.

haha thats pretty common in construction, i remember a while back i left a hammer on the bumper. THAT was a funny looking dent

but a can of beer left on the step part of the bumper will fit fine under a lowered tailgate. Trust me.
