Speaker Size in 04 Screw

I am looking at changing the speakers in my Fx4 Screw as I just upgraded the head unit. What size are the OEM speakers ? I had a look through the brochure I had any nada, 6 inch ?

Do I need to buy adapters to hook them up or do they just plug and play with the existing harness plugged into the OEM speakers ? Also just wondering what the wattage of the stock speakers are ?

They are 5X7/6X8. Most aftermarket speakers in these two sizes will fit without modification. You will need the speaker wire adapters though, available at any good stereo shop. You also can fit 5.25" speakers with adapters and tweeters in the original location in the two front doors. There is also one or two people who have install 6.5" speakers but had to make the adapter themselves. Just a few choices for you to consider. Good luck and enjoy.

No idea, but the main problem is they cant handle a broad range of frequencies.
