I love Sirius... :D

I went out today to Radio shack and bought a Sirius satellite radio receiver (one of those FM modulated ones) and installed it in my Lariat. I'd just like to say, I love this thing! Even though it is FM modulated, it still sounds GREAT, and I dont think I will ever listen to the regular radio again. Let the mods begin!

I realize there's a huge audience out there for Howard but do you really find him funny? I catch him a little here and there and all I here is a 50 year old man talking like a 15 year old and a bunch of people in the background laughing at everything being said. To me it's all very juvenile and not even funny. I guess everyone else gets it but me.

When I lived in Pittsburgh, I was a Stern fan, Then I moved to Erie PA (No Stern), and became a big Bob & Tom fan. I don't even like stern anymore.

"Bob and Tom, you guys rock!"

I get to listen to Bob and Tom for about 10 minutes on the way to work. Once I get into our building, the only radio station I can get is a local (small rural Iowa town) station where the highlight of the day is Paul Harvey.

I think radio is ready for a new guy to come in. Everyone is just old and tired out. Stern blows, B&T blow, our local D&M blow, I tried Opie & Anthony on XM and they blow... we need a new funny guy to get on the scene..

Am I interpreting this thread correctly...? Does Sirius broadcast Bob & Tom? Howard pales next to those guys. I never really "got" Stern's sense of humor. I guess I'm one of a select few who's not a fan.

Stern is by far, not the reason I got Sirius. I got it because we have 4 weak stations here, and they all play the same eight songs in what seems like an endless loop. I can tolerata Stern for a little bit, but he begins to annoy the **** out of me for some reason, and then I like Mark and Brian...

The answer to your radio woes my friend is Glenn Beck. I listen to him every day and he is awesome!

Oh, and I have XM directly hooked up to my Pioneer head unit and love it! (Especially at $6.42/month!)

Yeah, I do get to listen to Glenn Beck over lunch. (He's not on the local radio station either.) B&T on the way to work, Glenn Beck at lunch, and Sean Hannity on the way home. I must be getting old. I'm listening to talk radio on a regular basis...

The Morning Sickness here in PHX is the best morning show I've ever heard. I guess only the AZ people will know what I'm talking about...the rest of you guys are missing out.

Bob & Tom is the same exact thing as stern, all it sounds like is their laughing geting looped back. The best morning radio station is KLOS's Mark & Brian
