I made this tag Sat. while I was at work. Let me know what you guys think!!!
I took a piece of 3/8 aluminum plate and had the guys in composites laminate a sheet of carbon on the top and then I machined the logo in it.

Nice job...gotta have a front plate in MD so I couldn't use it but looks nice.

I use to work at a machine shop and those guys amazed me what they could do and not even think about it.....

So you glued the CF onto the plate and then actually machined the CF away?

We have a complete carbon fiber shop where I work. I gave them the plate and they put the carbon on it for me, then I just machined through the carbon into the aluminum plate. I got the idea from some throphy's that we made for the american lemans series last year.
