Got new tires *pics*

I got em yesterday afternoon. They're 305/70/17 Maxxis buckshot mudders. I bought some 17' XLT rims for 100 dollars and I actually like them better than my 18' FX4 rims. I was planning on getting some moto metal 951's for christmas but i think I might keep these instead. It looks like it's going to rain anytime here so I'm hopin I get to try them out. they still have the blue chalk over the white letters because I havent washed it off yet.

I dont know why people like the FX4 and lariat wheels better but I think these wheels look better with these tires than the other rims would. I'm having second thoughts on the moto metal 951's.

They look good, I ran those on my 2001 Screw and have them on my 2005 Screw as well, I've got about 3500 miles on mine and no problems whatsoever, The 17" wheels were one of the reasons I got the XLT, instead of the FX4. I got really good mileage 40K + out of these on my 01 b/c they are 8 ply, and seem to hold up well. Good choice Professor, I'm guessing you ordered them wholesale thru your co-op, no sales tax....Im gonna try some 315 BFG Hummer takeoffs next time and compare the 2.

I havent been through mud yet but my dad took my truck to check out a pivot and it was muddy around the well head(for you people who dont know what a pivot is, it is an irrigtion system). We have 50% chance of rain tommorrow so maybe I'll get to really test them out

Out of all the stock wheels my favorite by far are the 18" FX4 wheels. The only problem with stock wheels, they're only 7.5" wide and that doesn't do you any good when you start buying bigger tires.
