So Fabtech and autospring?

Here's what I'm planning. The Fabtech 6" kit plus the 2" autospring kit. some 35" H2 take offs on the factory rims. I know bfg says 8" wide rims but if I'm correct someone here is already running this wheel / tire combo and you can score those tires from like 400 bucks.

question though. Does the Fabtech kit prevent the use of the autospring? and If not does the fabtech kit level the truck out? if it keeps the rake then the autospring will level it. If the fabtech levels it I'll need a bigger block in the back right.
This setup will give me the height I want for under 2 G's with tires. And I'm a poor workin man.
Any insight?

BTW 4.6 2wd excab

im possitive you can use a spacer in the front with the fabtech 6 inch lift with the stock coilovers. im not possitive they will work with the dirt logic coilovers but they should. anyway, i dont think you should go with a spacer in the front unless you are goin 37s. there is no need to. the kit is already level when installed and when you put spacers on it will probly raise the front higher than the back. if anything i would put an add a leaf or new blocks in the back to raise the back so it is higher in the back. i thnk that would look better.

yeah if the fabtech makes it level, then I'll just either get a bigger block than comes with the kit or the add a leaf so I still have a small rake with the spacer. I guess a 2" add a leaf would be best huh?

I just dont wanna have to trim and I dont wanna rub. Bigger is better right? And the 37's are just too much change when I can get the 35 BFG Ko's for around 400 bucks.

Heres your options. Just get the 6" lift if your going to get 35s, the truck will be level. If you want to do 37s your going to need to do a add-a-lead and a spacer or a 3" body lift, personally I'd go the spacer and the add-a-leaf route.

Everyone here is pretty dead on with their advice. If you are only going to run 35" tires...just stay with the 6" fabtech. If you get the dirt logics, you can adjust them to "level out" the front and still have a decent ride. I have mine cranked so my front is about an inch higher.

Also, you are going to have a hard time finding different blocks for the rear...bigger or smaller. The 04-05's use a 2 pin block and not a single pin like the older body style. There are not too many out there to choose from.

The only thing that makes a 4x4 higher is the 2" block it has in the back. I beleive it is removed anyway if you put a 6" lift on.

agreed! most kits provide a new block or new leaf springs. if you have a 4x4 it may sit a little higher but that will all be reaplaced. if you have a 4x2 it will provide you with new blocks. you wont need to buy another block and stack them. just make sure you buy a 4x2 lift kit if you have a 4x2.

In that case, I would go with Fabtech's 2WD 7.5" long travel kit!
