Update:

Im still dealing with the steering wheel nibble. I have an appointment for Saturday morning with the service manager and the regional rep or something. I have a friend who bought an F-150 from the dealer that Im having the repair work done at and it had the steering wheel nibble. They had to bring the truck in 18 times before they told him they couldn't fit it and thats when Ford bought back the truck. This will be my fourth visit, all I know is Im not taking it in 14 more times. They also tried to tell him the steering wheel nibble was being caused by vibrations from the bug shield.

Guys, it looks like I might be getting an 05 or 06.

Stock BFGs and no issues... but my brakes squeal like a 10 year old school bus. I think his problems stem from his username. With a name like that your just asking for trouble!!!

I replaced my Rugged Trail with Michelins and the vibe is worse now.
I believe that Michelin tires have a stiffer sidewall.

Im getting so fed up with this. I shouldn't have to be dealing with this with a brand new truck. Any suggestions guys? Any info on what I need to do and know about Ford buying back a vehicle? The help would really be appreciated!

Thumper..I hear ya bro. Im going thru the same crap. I was almost tempted to just trade it on a new one, but realized I would loose my a$$ since the trade in value is horrible on these trucks right now. I have an appointment with my service manager on the 19th (next friday) Im totally fed up with this whole thing. I have the lemon law paperwork already, and Im probably gonna file my complaint with the BBB Autoline, so I have that paperwork also. Then when I leave the truck for service, all that paperwork will just happen to be laying on the front seat. I really hope my service manager can do something about this. I really want it fixed. If they cant fix it, shouldnt I get something extra for having Yellow, since its no longer available?? Let me know what happens Thumper.

Oh yeh...go to the BBB web site and check out the Autoline stuff. It will tell you how to proceed with your complaint. I forget which thread it was now but just search for BBB Autoline and you will find the web site and some more info on guys who have done this already.

Well looks like my appointment for Saturday morning got moved to Tuesday morning. A Ford Rep is going to come look at the truck and try to figure out what they're going to do for me. I already filed with BBB Autoline to get the paper work tonight. So I guess this means Im going to have to start taking everything I put in it, out of it. Ugh.

Anything I need to know about the Lemon Law?

All I know is that if you call them they will send you a packet of info, or you can go to the web site to get the info for your state. From what I understand, make sure you have all the paperwork they require and do what they ask and it should go smooth. I have also heard that if you use the Autoline (which,in some states, is mandatory before you go lemon law ) that it usually gets resolved at that point. I guess once you file the complaint with Autoline, you can back out if they fix it or offer you something else right??

All I did so far was file a claim here.

File A Lemon Law/Auto Warranty Complaint

I guess I better get the leveling kit out of there before the Ford Rep looks at the truck on Tuesday. This is going to be such a pain. If they give me a replacement, now Im going to have to pay for everything to be reinstalled on my truck like the headunit and alarm.

Exclamation vibe is back

I've had my truck since November 2003 and have had no vibe problems. I have the Goodyear AT without any problems. Do you all know that the BFG tire company is own by Michelin?

Its pretty obvious anymore that the tires are NOT causing the vibe problem. Ive had mine replaced with new BFG's and its worse now. Others have had replacements of different brands and still have the vibe. Im wondering if the frames are bent on some of these trucks and are wreaking havoc with us all.

Thumper..I just filed a claim with the BBB Autoloine as well. Im just sick and tired of being sick and tired of this truck.

I have the Generals on my truck. I had them balanced and rotated twice. Then they started falling apart. Finally the dealer replaced the control arms and 4 new Generals. It's been vibe free for about 5k miles.
