Rear seats too straight?

Just back from 3 hour drive.

Kids are in child seats which compensate for it but when the wife sits back there she complains they are too straight...

Any one else had these complaints?

A common complaint re: the '97-'03 models...not heard too often about the '04-'05 vehicles.

I have the longest ride to work everyday, but I'm the one driving to lunch all the time. Shut yo mouth, and enjoy the ride.

Two large guys in the back seat of my supercrew last weekend said they were happy as a clam after spending 7 straight hours back their on a long trip.

Compared to my 2002 Dodge ram I had .... these back seats are KING !!! :o

I think they're pretty comfortable, most rear seats in trucks are going to be pretty straight up.

I normally don't have the opportunity to sit in my back seats, but when I do, they're REALLY COMFORTABLE, if you know what I mean.....

I had a Chevrolet driver tell me the seats in the back were uncomfortable, but he was looking REAL hard to find something wrong with my new rig. Personally, I haven't been back there yet, I'm too busy driving with a goofy grin on my face. :o

I bet they are much more comfortable than sitting in the bed of the truck.

I've also had people in the back and they said they were comfortable. I have the supercab not crew. But I am going to get the seat lift kit. I'll also figure a way to make the backs recline a little more. It may not be much but should help a little. Small pillows could help on longer trips.

on a trip from FL to VA in one day and VA to Cape Cod on another day my wife didn't have any complaints about the back seat in the crew cab.

I went to a truck sales show where there were dodges/chevys/fords/toyota etc. It was nice to be able to walk from one to the other at the same place to compare and not drive from one lot to the other and try to remember what it was like.

I felt the Chevy/gmc had the best feeling back seats, however they didn't fold up which I use all of the time, and the back didn't feel as roomy as the ford.

The dodge had a tiny back seat in the crew cab.

You getting the seat lift for subs or just more room under the seats?

I'm guessing you are talking about the little blocks that raise the rear seats anywhere from like 2 inches to 4 inches. I think LMI sells them or you can get them on ebay.
