Nibble

Well guys. I went to the department that builds the rack and pinion for the F-150 and asked around. As far as I can tell there were not any major changes since the began building them back in 2003. For the 2005 model there were some minor changes non of which will change the way they drive. A few of the guy at the plant have had the nibble problem. One guy had to get new tires. One was something in the steering linkage but most (myself included) haven't had any problems. Sorry I couldn't find out much but I gave it a shot.

Question Nibble-

Hi-Can you find out for us what the general procedure is to tighten up the preload on the rack assembly. I had this done on my '04 F150 last year , and it eliminated 95% of the nibble. Now my new '05 Lariat is doing this .Please advise
