Well I am waiting for day light, I just checked all the part numbers to make sure that I have the correct parts and there all here & the right ones for my wheel base. I have the 133 inch wheel base. The stainless muffler is really sharp, and I was not expecting the tip to be welded on but it is, When I ordered it I was told it was clamped on but I guess they made some changes. I am really excited, Of course on the packing slip it said that my Airforce one was back ordered, But I figured that. I did however recieve my superchips 1745 today also, I know everyone is going to say I should have got the Excal 2, But for what I wanted I think this will do just fine.
I will up date everyone tomorrow.

The Banks units are definitely well made and look good to boot. I've seen them on a couple of F150's. They give the truck that "diesel" look. I'm actually leaning towards getting them prior to getting an s/c.
I had a (full) Banks system put on our motorhome about a year ago, the chrome tip they welded on the end of the exhaust pipe is huge. It looks ok due to the fact its a 34' coach.
What is the measurement of the tip you got? Wondering if they scaled it down for the F-150.

my brother had a banks exhaust on his rubicon, very good quality. i have the magnaflow on my truck now, and the tip is also welded on. SUPER clean welds, same on the banks im sure. i like how your rear pipe is one section, mine came in 2, which was easier to install, but id rather have the one piece. these band style exhaust clamps are HARD to get to hold tight
i have the banks exhaust on my truck and i love it.It doesnt sound like a truck exhaust it sounds more like a low sports car exhuast and thats why i love it. Its well woth it. how much you get yours for? i paid 436 shipped at 4wheelersupply.com
Ok, I just got through installing the exaust, It was not easy but it's done, It was a pain to install, But that was mostly due to me doing it by myself, Just a heads up for anyone installing any exaust, Get another set of hands to help. the exaust fit up perfect, and man I was expecting it to sound really loud, But it has a really low rumble to it, Not very loud at idle, But look out when you get on it, I really love it and I am glad I made the purchase. I did do one thing that probably no one else does, After I had it fit up and in place and the clamps tight, I welded the connection on the intake side of the muffler. I can always cut it if I have to remove it for anything. The reason for this is that the pipe did not seem to go in the muffler far enough for me to be satisfied, and I am a pefectionest. I will take some pictures and post as soon as it quits raining, It has been pouring here all day.
I highly recommend this set up to anyone that might want a really well made exaust.
It is not too loud at all, at least not for me.
I also highly recommend the rev shop, I got the exaust and the airforce one for $699.00 delivered.

Thanks for this post. I'm thinking this is what I'll go with. Banks is a GREAT company.
The spelling needs work to prove you're a perfectionist!
