Most of the posts about tuners are people with 5.4. I am looking for people that have the tuner with the 4.6. I have finally talked the wife into getting an excalibrator. I done this by telling her it would help my gas mileage since my mileage has gone down since my new tires. Some questions I have are has anyone gotten the 89 performance tune? Is there any difference in the 87 tune vs. 89? I was thinking about getting and 89 perf, 93 perf, and 93 tow. I can live with the power the truck has now but it is nothing like my friends new z71. My truck also doesn't have the same feel as my friends 97 4.6 4x4 which seems a lot faster than my truck. This is one reason why I want a tuner. Also does the tuner help gas mileage if you driving style doesn't change?

Alright, alright I highly suggest the X2. It has given me a good boost in power for the money. The shift points are alot better than stock, not as jerky, alot smoother. I just got a 93 performance program, so I will be trying it out when I run out of this tank of gas. Very worth it. I like it, I like it alot
