Tuner and speedometer changes???

Does anybody know if any of these tuners will let me go in and change the tire size? I am running 20's in the summer, and want to run the factory 18's in the winter. I don't want to keep running to the dealer to make the speedometer changes

as far as I know all the tuners allow for at least this flexibility. I only have experience with SC1714, but it sounds like a common attribute

With the XCal2 you have 3 custom programs that can't be changed by you, the user. The tire size has to be written into the program so if you change tire size, you have to have a new program made.

I just got a superchips 1745 and it allows you to make changes pretty quick. say 5 to 10 minutes.

sorry red wing nut, but youre info is bad. on my BamaChips Xcal2 i can change tire size, gear ratio, idle, shift points and firmness all on my computer AND NOW actually in the truck with the tuner. so yes you can change tire size and gear ratio IN HAND with the Xcal2. in one sense you are right though red, every time you change a factor you must reburn the program to the truck, so you cant dynamically change the tire size, you just have to reflash it again with the new size. no big deal

Those features are in the Xcal2, and no matter what dealer you get it from you should have those options. i know the handheld tweaking is in beta right now, and i know that BamaChips offers it on theirs, but im not sure about Troyer

That's been one of the things keeping me from buying an Xcal2. Don't want to have to get a new program made every time I change tire size etc. I might have to get me one now.
