what length RCA wires in Scab...

What length RCA's wires did you guys use?

I've got my power wire ran on the passenger side under the step plate. My amp is located under the passanger side rear seat. So I'm thinking the RCA wire will run from the head unit, under the center console, and on the passanger side of the center hump (under carpet), and hook over to the amp. Just curious if anyone else ran it this way and what length RCA I need to get. I'm thinking a 10' should do it, but if 8' is ok I'd rather use that.

For now, I don't plan on amp'ing my front components. Just going to run them off the head unit until money permits. But that amp would be under the passanger front seat.

I did 16' just in case and it came in handy, I got another amp for my subs and had to move the amp to the other side of the cab, since I over shot I didn't have to re-run my RCA's, better safe then sorry I guess

True, but in my case I have the JL stealthbox, so the amp is never swapping sides. I'll have to break out a rope and go measure it.

Is it a pain in the *** to route the wire under the console and under the carpet on the hump? I'm just hoping it's somehow possible without ripping out the interior.

Id plan on taking out the passenger seat and center console, it was super easy routing the rca's behind the glovebox, and under the plastic step strip next to the passenger seat, going through the center might save you 4' of RCA, but I wouldn't want to spend my weekend ripping apart my interioir for it, one thing I've learned working in car audio is to always take the path of least resistance & time

Definately get some pics after install though I wanna see how that JL works out for ya, I gotta ditch my 2 12's as my hearing is going and the wife is getting sick of having to repeat herself

I suppose I could route the RCA wire on the drivers side, but then it would be the longest route possible.

One thing I do not want is my RCA wire running along with the amp's power wire. And that wire is already ran on the passenger side.
