Hello everyone. Just got myself a new FX4 a couple weeks ago and really like it so far. I know allot of you all like the rear dual exits and Magnaflow seems to be the popular choice. I was leaning towards the side exit(in front of rear wheel) like on the Lightning and wonder if any one had it? Thoughts? Pics?
I had a Lightning with a complete Bassani system front to back and loved it.Sound with the headers,hi flow cats,and dual mufflers rocked!
I know it wont have the same look out the side or sound obviously but I would still like to see some pics on a SC if at all possible before I decide. Thanks for any input.

Try doing a search to see if anyone else has it. I have it on my Screw along with an Airaid intake and it sounds great. Only have one pic of it in my gallery.

 

I've got the side exit and love it. This is my first experience with Magnaflow. It sounds great looks great and easy to keep clean.You wont get the same sound as the Lightning but still sounds good. I got mine from Hottexhausts for under $380 with shipping included.

 

The pic in your gallery works for me man thanks. Love the blacked out heads and tails. Your truck looks sweeeeet! Also being silver like mine helps the "vision". Mind telling me if you painted the tail lights or are they after market? Also where did you get the headlights and how was the fit? Thanks man and keep up the good work on the FX4.

Looks good man i am really leaning towards the side exit. Still looks clean and Magnaflow seems to be the choice. I was checking out hottexhausts and looks like the place to go with. Less pipe action under the truck as well.
Yeah I know its not going to be like my L but I do like the looks and not as common as the dual rear exit and I like it. I have chrome step bars that came with my FX4 so i figured it would match up well also. Thanks again and Keep Truckin'.

I'd highly encourage you to shop around and look at prices. There are multiple vendors that sell Magnaflow Systems and some will offer better customer service than others. Further, we do have a nice array of SUPPORTING VENDORS that pay to advertise on our site. This, in turn, keeps the site free to use and supports the expenses that are incurred to run the site (hosting, software, server storage, etc.) and thus, I'd highly recommend that you shop our SVs!

Thanks! Tails are professionally painted/smoked out. Headlights are made by DEPO and everyone has been buying them on ebay. They fit fine. If you do a search, there is like a 14 page thread talking about them. The ebay sellers are even using a picture of my truck on their auctions.

 

Thanks for the info. I will do some snooping around. Man I love your sub box location and speaker install pics,very useful. A set of those headlamps and some Silver Star bubs would do the trick for me. Take care.

I also have the SIDO Magnaflow side exhaust. I really like the sound ... not to loud when just cruising ... but makes a great tone when accelerating and really sounds good at WOT ...... You will like it !!!
I hope to post some better pictures once I move the tips out about an inch to look better with my side skirts.
