convinced something is wrong

we are working on an 05 f150 scab 4x4 5.4 with 3.55 gears, it has 6 miles on it. i had to take the service manager back to the dealer ship, so i decided to get on it a little on the way back to our shop. this truck is so much faster than mine. it will spin the tires for 5-10 feet. mine wont even break them loose. its pretty much the same except it has higher gears, which should make it slower around town. im convinced i got some fluke truck with half the power it should have. it makes me that much closer to getting an xcal2. im really gonna see how my truck will do this weekend. pulling my bros toy hauler. 4500lbs dry. 3-4 quads.

three trucks can roll of the assembly line, same engines, ect..one of the three is going to out perform the othier two, one of the two will be put to gethier better, one of the three will get beter mileage...one of the trhree is just going to the better truck...Reflash your coumputer...the 05 might be running a diff. tune from the factery than your 04..

if your looking to go faaaast, leave your 60's and 70's cars in the garage and drive a 2004 Cobra. Im a old ford fanatic and have 2 of them but If you ask me TODAY is the day of the musclecar.

Someone else on here mentioned getting reflashed, and it woke the truck up. I'd give that a shot first. I'd still get the Xcalibrator, but see what happens with a reflash.
