Clear corners on headlights

Has anybody put clear corners on their OEM headlights yet? I'm wondering what it would look like without that orange there. I was thinking I might do it when I retrofit HIDs into my truck. Just wanted to see if anyone had them or could photoshop them. I'd bet they'd look really good with the titanium bulbs. It'd totally remove the orange.

you can...

a) take out the amber plastic piece (but it looks dumb)

b) you can go to a plastic shop and they can "re-make" the peice with no color (your best bet)

Yeah, I'm just afraid the clear plastic wouldn't look that great with the chrome. Unless you can chrome finish it like the rest of the light, I think I'll just keep it amber.

Unless you put a amber bulb in there, it will be illegal. I also wouldn't completely remove the piece either as that will get you a ticket for having a exposed bulb.

I suggested this once before to a previous member, but I'm not sure if he tried it or not. Those ricey projector headlights they sell come with a clear corner reflector that looks like the same size as our OEM amber corners. What you could do is try to find out who makes those projectors, and then contact them to see if they would be willing to sell you just the clear corner lenses. If so, then you would be set and ready to install them if you are already taking apart your lights for your HID project.

There's a NEW black version that just came out about 1-2 weeks ago with clear markers.

I'm pondering whether or not to get them. It's high dollar for me considering the 'funtionality' of them. They're just for looks.
