Couple of questions...

Question #1...

Is the Electronic Cooling fan really worth it? Truck is not currently towing anything, but will hopefully soon be towing a 16' Bass Boat. Not really concerned about the towing performance, but I have noticed these engines get hot fast and stay hot for a while before cooling down.


Question #2...

Is a product such as the "Turbonator" really true, or is it a "mythical" upgrade? Already having a K&N FIPK, I am wondering if adding the extra "circulation" of air will actually help anything. Does the product really work?

Turbonator...I believe my son just won that on his Ratchet and Clank game.

 

the fans are a good mod, it can be done for as little as $125, and as much as $500 depending on the route you take, it will let the engine run smoother, quieter, and get just a little more power because it doesnt have to trun the mechanical fan

the turbonator is not worth the sheet metal its made out of

 

Turbonator...why can't i think of these things like that to sell, i missed out on the pet rock, the magnet for fuel systems and spectrum tape for dash boards...oh well, guess thats why im typing this from work.
I did read a story written by someone who actually did buy one, he said he went to take it out due to the fact it did absolutly did nothing, when he did, 2 of the metal "fins" were missing off of it, and he never did find them.
