PCM and speedo recalibration

so i just returned from the dealership- they were recalibrating my speedometer to match the new tires.... well they tried to just change the tire parameters in the pcm 3 times, each time the truck denied the change, and locked them out of the pcm... truck knows whats best for itself i guess.... well, they come in and tell me that, and im like, 'greaaaat- just what i wanted to hear' the guy then says they are going to try and reload the whole system rather than changing the tire specs specifically...it took about half an hour - would that be sufficient or suspect as a pcm reflash? my work order only states a speedo recalibration for larger tires and the lowest they could get the comp to read was 650 revs/mile, so im off by only 1.5-2 mph now...not as bad as the 6 before.
thanks guys- not sure a pcm reflash would do much for me anyways with a 5/5/05 build.
either way, im happy, trucks back on target, and it still runs, so all's good in my book.
Justin
