New Brakes are Needed!

should i go with the cross-drilled rotors? what brand do you recommend and what pads should i go with? anyone on here using the cross drilled? im trying to get more mileage out of mine (14,000 miles is terrible!) also trying to eliminate the brake dust!

i forgot to mention im not looking to break the bank either! (hopefully) $300 sounds about right for the job

i doubt youll get rotors and everything for under $300, esp if youre 2wd, so you may have to break your budget or pass on the fancy rotors

ive heard a lot of good stuff about hawk pads, i used to know a place you could get them for pretty cheap.... buybrakes.com i think front and rear was $136 shipped. i think moss sells some rotors for our trucks, but i know they are always the most expensive, best to go to powerslots website, find a part number and google it

there are a couple sets of powerslots on ebay (just listed) One is going for 99 bucks and the others are over 200. i think the guy only wants 19 dollars shipping, not too bad.

i would recomend the porterfield pads rather then the hawks...just from reading on here they seem the way to go....sucks that 2wd get it with no lube for the rotors...

Pads - Porterfields

Discs - Powerslots on Ebay!

This is what I'll be doing when I get the money or win the lottery!

unless you get really good rotors hawk brake pads will eat your rotors. Moss has slotted rotors for $99 a side.

A very good choice. Thats what I did and no more dust or squeaks or chewed up rotors, best mod to date till xcal2 gets here.
