Finally pulled the trigger...

Couldn't pass up all the rebates this weekend and finally got a Dark Stone Lariat 4x4. I've been lurking here for over a month now, doing my homework. First on the list is a tonneau (extang full-tilt?), then floor mats (weathertech liners?), then, of course, Troyer stage one stuff.
The truck doesn't seem as slow as some say, the gas pedal is bit spongy, but seems to me there is more a problem with shift points. Hoping the X-cal2 will take care of that...

Have to get pics this evening.

Welcome aboard rta108 and Congrats on the new Lariat

Since you’ve done your homework, then you know the XCal2 will eliminate any spongy feeling in the pedal, crisp up shift points and in general, make your new Lariat fun to drive.

Don’t forget to get some pics posted

Search the interior forum for various floor mat options for your new F-150. I am happy with my Catch-all carpeted mats, but you can search and decide for yourself.

Thanks guys, this site rocks. Amazing wealth of info.

I kinda wanna stick to a rubber mat, just for utility reasons. I'm looking at the Weathertechs and the Husky's. I have Mixed feelings about the diamond plate design though...

I also decided to go ahead and get the ford drop-in bedliner, Line-x seems expensive, and the drop-in just seemed convienient and reasonably priced. Can't be all bad I figure, since a bazillion people have them. Can't have it installed til later this week though.

Just need to get her waxed up before the birds have their way. Guess I'll head over to the other forum and find a wax. Thinking NXT?

Catch-all also makes a Catch-all extreme that is their version of a rubberized mat.

NXT is a good wax and you will find a lot of people in the detailing forum using and recommending it.
