Ya Well it would be stupid to the normal person but not for someone who regulars the car show scene. I am actually gonna put 2 more 7" screens in the Sun visors! That is just plain STUPID!!!

theres no reason to be mean here, so what if he is better off than some of us? i look at other people mods all day long and wish i could afford them, dont take it out on the kid. **** if i had 5 TVs in my truck id show it off too

 

I'd be more impressed by a kid who spent his own hard earned dollars on some mods that were actually useful like a nice stereo etc. than somebody who puts as many screens in his truck that will fit and his parents will buy. Theres just no reason to have that many screens other than to show off. They serve no useful purpose.

 

Damn, and All I want is 2 screens, a dvd, The black billet grilles, the black headlights, a 6" fabtech kit, 35's mounted on 20's, a shaker hood, Two 12's under a lifted rear seat, black overlayed rear emblem, a rear view cam, a pair of hella black magic lights mounted behind the grille. oh yeah, black wet oakles or the stock black cloth seat covers. I think thats it.


Course I'm a workin man with a mortgage, Kid in private school, 2 car notes, and all the tipical bills that go along with a $130,000 house

I have three kids that ride in the back of my 05 S.crew. When we go out of town I have to have cables run all over for three screens and strap them on the seats. Then my wife has to have one in the front. This is just cool has hell! So what if the kid has some trick video in the truck. Looks great dude! What did the over head and head rest screens cost alone?

 

$3,500 to make yourself feel accepted and "cool" among people you hardly know...

I've never seen so many jealous fools in one forum. His truck is badass, face it! Even if his parents paid for the whole thing-who cares!!! If your parents paid for all your crap you would have it to.

Guys, I think we should cut this kid a break, I mean I'm 35 and was that age once, and no doubt would I have killed to have a setup like that! His truck his choice and perogrative. I do though, respect the fact that we all have opinions, just offering mine. If his parents are well off, then good for him, I hope he would have a least did something for them to earn it, if that's the case. I'm not jealous as I could afford to do something like that, but i have a family of 5 and a mortgage to look after. I noticed though, you do not have an alarm system on your list of mods, I would invest in a GOOD one if I were you bro, or least insure it. Don't be spoiled, appreciate having something like that at your age. Enjoy!

 

Not my cup of tea but I wouldnt mind having the two 10's and the big flip down screen. Like FX4&EX said I would get a good security system.

 

I would prefer that the screen in the dash was flush mount. Maybe you should buy a new one. I think the flip screens look so yesterday.
