Autospring, wheels, and tires installed!

Well, I installed the autospring 2 1/2" leveling kit this weekend. Took me about 2 hours with most of the time spend looking around my garage for the right sockets and tools.

The truck is now 1/2" lower in the front and looks perfect.

I installed 315/70-17 BFG AT tires on 17x8 MB Motoring Blitz rims. The rims are 8" wide with a 25mm offset which gives about 5" of backspacing. This size is absolutely perfect and I get no rubbing from lock to lock.

Also, I have the 5.4 with 3.73LS and there is no negligible loss of power as far as I can tell.

Looks good! How's the driveability? Any shakes or vibrations through the steering wheel?

I promised Sean at DiscountTire that I wouldn't post the price, but he gave me a great deal, and they had free shipping. I couldn't resist. I think they look great on the truck.

Get some window tint on that beast and it'll look 10x better!

Unfortunately I live in NJ, and the law states that the allowable window tint on driver and passenger windows is a big 0.

I'd be interested in seeing more pictures. Do your tires stick out beyond your fenders at all?

BTW: Nice truck and choice of tires. I've always believed that cultured people, much like ourselves, often think alike.
