dose any one know where the sensor for the automatic headlights is? and if there is a way to adjust it? my haedlights are comeing on when it is way too light out. it didn't used to be this way when it was new. but now it is so I am thinking I would like to adjust it if there is a way to.

I believe its on the dashboard on the drivers side, i always get that sensor mixed up with the one located on the back of the rear view mirror, which i think is the compass.

believe it is housed with the little blinking red light pod on the top left of your dash near the window pillar. not sure why its being overly sensitive-

Correct

Maybe it has gotten dusty or gotten a film over it that blocks some light.

I was thinking the same thing. I wiped it off. I do know I use vinyl cleaner/conditiioner on my dash a few times a year. I hope it isn't building up a film that is starting to block the light to the sensor. well I will see in the morning. my lights have been staying on in the morning more than an hour after the sun rises.

Something is definatly wrong, I think that mine don't come on too soon, that I am the last one to get them on, oh well. Good luck and hopefully its an easy solution.
