Slow at 40 mph
I have had my FX4 SC for 6 weeks now. At WOT the initial acceleration is very good, tires usually chip, but at about 40 mph the truck seems to stop accelerating for a second and then the acceleartion rate is slow. I have noticed that the tach usually will not go over 4000 rpm. My 302 '94 F150 seems much quicker when pulling into traffic. Is this acceleration lag part of the engine computer's programming and normal for a "non-tuned" 2005 FX4 F150?
I'll probably get a 'Troyer XCal2' in the future, but this acceleration lag is most aggravating.
