Well Guys, First dent.

I did it!!! We had 3 jet skis in the back and i couldnt see out my back window and i backed into a handicap sign. Put a little dent in my tailgate.
i was pretty bumbed out when it happened.

that sucks, sorry man. the backup sensors would have came in handy there!

Yeah they would have. Do they work with the tailgate down????

if the tailgate is down it will beep like there is something behind you, atleast mine does

It works but not the way it's supposed to, they see the tailgate as an obstruction, and don't stop beeping....so i guess the answer is actaully no.
There's a button to turn them off. (for towing and having tailgate down etc...)

Im retarded for backing into a pole with a big blue sign on it that says handicap parking only. LOL

O yeah haha. We just got back from the dezert/river. I just backed my truck into the river and we unloaded the skis that way. Thats why the truck is super dirty and water spotted up.
