Talking Persistence, EBAY, & one happy camper! (Overhead Rail Bin Package)

Persistence pays off, but sometimes you need a little luck too!

As part of the regular web sites I visit just about every day as a break from work, I have specific searches in ebay saved ... one for our 2004-2005 trucks and one for overhead rail bins. I stumbled onto an Interstate Package the other week with a starting bid of $9.99 (no reserve). Well, no one else bid on it! These things are so easy to install ... no tools ... just snap into place. So, here it is.

That is a hell of a deal. Wish I had that kind of luck.

Yeah me too - eveytime I try to buy something on e-bay I wait a week and then someone comes in at the last second and outbids me by a dollar....I just don't have the time (nor inclination) to be tied to my computer tracking e-bay items....I gave up and would much rather make my purchases all at once and be done with them!

That's why when I sell things on ebay, I never start the bidding lower than the very lowest price I'd accept. It's different on more expensive/popular items where it's safe to start lower with no reserve. The person that put those on there for 9.99 was stupid...but it's good for you

That's a great deal, but there is absolutely no way I could have waited as long as you did to get one.

Enjoy it!

HELLUVA BUY!!!

I have my eye on a camera that ends in 5-6 hours. The discription has the wrong model number by one digit. I looked at the pictures with the camera nad it is indeed the one I want. I even e-mailed the lady and she got right back with me. She has solid feedback with big ticket items as well. Everyone keep their fingers crossed for me.

Wouldn't it suck if he/she just forgot to add the 4th "9"....

Arrow some EBAY auctions of interest

Came across these tonight in case you're interested. Yes, there are more individual bins on ebay, but one of these is a good price (2/1 deal) and the other is a the FREEWAY package (rare to see packages on ebay).

Anyone know how to get an overhead rail kit and install it in an '04 that has a moonroof?
