Retrax Cover installed

Ok guys I have the pics of my new Retrax rollup cover installed on my 05 KR!

Check out my album for the pics.

I have nothing but good things to say about the cover. It does everything that I wanted it to do. It installed easy, it locks to prevent theft, it locks in any position along the track, it had drains to prevent water from entering the bed, and it has no noise at all.

Check out the pics and I will be happy to answer any questions.

Ting...lol

The tint is 15% all the way around with the back windows being darker because of stock tint. The windshield has a full tint as well. It is a 30%.

Thanks for the compliments.

Great setup! I have the Retrax Line-x on mine as well.

WTF? That tint is dark. N. Carolina gets just as hot in the summer. Hell, we got 105 today with the heat index. Sorry tint laws. Burns me up, literally and figuratively

Its hard for me to worry about the cops giving me problems in my town since all of them have darker tint on their "pig rigs". A lot of my friends are cops and they all have dark tint on their personal cars as well.

Makes the inside a billion times cooler during the day!

I understand the tint laws but since I dont plan on breaking any major laws I am not gonna worry about it.

How long have you had the Retrax on your truck?

the only water that comes into the bed now is from around the tailgate. But they do sell a seal kit for that if you so desire. I payed a little less than $900 and since I am super impatient I had it sent 2nd day air which added a couple hundred to the cost.

Yes it is more expensive than a soft cover but its less than a hard cover and for me it is the best of all worlds.....

Hope that helps.

Almost a year now. No problems at all. The tailgate seal is nice, but it is thick. The tailgate doesn't sit as flush as without it, but it has never leaked. I guess I could have put it on better.
