AC (problem)?
Well, I guess I will take it to Ford and have them test everything.
Now I am worried that they will be able to tell that I added refrigerant and will not fix any problems under warranty (If I did over charge it).
Does anyone know if they will be able to tell??

Ok so, if we get frustrated with the dealership on just checking the vent temp, which they say is within spec 45 degrees and it still isn't cooling, do we pick up a small charging kit from Walmart and check it ourselves? If we check it ourselves, does anyone have instructions to do so on a 2004-2005 F150? And would it be safe without over-charging the A/C?
if the vent temp is 45 deg. it is cooling.
the recarge kit is very simple jus follow the instruction. make sure the kit you purchase has the coler coded gauge on it unless you familiar on how a a/c sysytem works and what pressure they need to be at

I'm sorry, I should have said that, if we still feel that it's not cooling enough.
I myself have been to the dealer and had them check the A/C and they checked the vent temp, which was 45 degs. It just seems to take to long to cool down the inside even with all the tips that others give us to cool it off quicker. Some had said it should be 38-41 degs.
If I was going to attempt to do it myself, I would want the correct instructions to do so. Has anyone attempted this with success? Keeping in mind that some of us are not super mechanics...
Hey thanks for the link. The info will come in handy.
Yes, I had the recirculate on, but I shouldn't have to keep it on and on.
It does automatically shut off and brings in outside air, then it seems to get a little warmer. I'm not saying mine is really bad, but it should cool quicker and be colder. My dealer seems to be pretty good, but in this case I don't think they thought they had to check the pressure of the system seeing that it was 45 degs at the vents. Now is that 45 degs with a contant recirculate on? Shouldn't have to be like that... My wife bought a Toyota Highlander and it puts my F150's A/C to shame...
