fabtech dual steering stabilizer on my 05 FX4

I just got it installed today and I like it! Nice tight steering wheel, hardly any shimming at all. No more jerky steering wheel as slow speeds. It's a definate must have for running wide oversized tires.

I got it done late...I'll try to throw a pic or 2 up tomorrow.

Got you covered Tia...Fabtech part # is FT8009 and I paid $100 dollars for it. I'm pretty sure I have tomorrow off (unless something comes up) so I'll post pics then.

Cool

Dood bolted em in there with supplied Fabtech hardware. Fab says ya can't run stock rims with it installed but I not try putting stocks back on yet to try. Actually I shouldn't say for sure he didn't modify them cuz I don't know and he did modify and fabricated a bunch of stuff on body lift. Dang, Dood had my truck for near nine days! Near killed me!!!

Best,

Brypink2

did you install them on a lifted truck or stock suspesnsion truck?

I have the autospring 2.5" leveling kit with 33"x13" tires and have been thinking of installing the dual fabtech stabilizers. They say that it only fits lifted trucks but anything can be made to work....

where can they be bought for $100? so far the cheapest i have found is $142

My truck has a 6" Fabtech lift. Actually, mine cost $120 (looked at receipt) at 4 wheel parts.

Can these Fabtech stablizers be used on the 2WD? Or are they for 4WD only? Thanks.

So you must use the lift kit and have aftermarket wheels.

Thanks

We know it will not work with stock wheels, but we have only tested this
kit with our crossmember kit. Thanks

My question is can these be installed on a 04-05 F150 2WD or 4WD with an
leveling kit (autospring or daystar). With stock rims or with
aftermarket.

Thanks
Chris

Seems like you have to have the Fabtech lift kit and aftermarket wheels from that e-mail exchange. I'd like to add steering stabilizers to my 2WD and will continue searching.

Cool You Can Add FabTech's S/S A To Pro Comp Lift...

I have a 6" procomp lift on my 2004 FX4 with 17" aftermarket rims and I had the fabtech steering stabilizers installed and they work just fine on my truck.
No problems at all....
