Bull bar or Brush guard?

Ok since I have my 35 toyo m/t's and my new autospring ordered I'm gonna go ahead and get a brush guard or bull bar now. I emailed the people at ranchhand and they told me those brush guards are on a 6 month backorder and I want one now. I'm either gonna get the Westing black bull bar or the westin sportsmans series brushguard or the smittybuilt brushguard. this is the front of my truck So what should I get? I dont really know what my truck would look like with bull bar so if anyone has a white truck with a black bull bar would you share your pics with me. I've got a feeling this site is gonna lead me to bankruptcy and I'm only 17

personally, i like the full brush guards, not that the bull bars dont look good, you just cant use them, they basically only hold lights, you cant push anything with them like you can a full brush guard. another thing, check ebay if you already havent, you just missed a ranch hand grill guard for an 04 05 f150 for 200$ and it had never been used. so there are some good deals on there. black if you dont have any chrome.

Hey bofer I look on ebay everyday in ebay motors under 2004-2005 f-150 and I've never had a ranchhand grilleguard come up but I just typed in ranchhand and I was a few on there for dodges and chevy's but not for the f-150. I'll wait about a week and see if one pops up. And Balog I considered the WAAG but I found the others cheaper.

I really like the way the Westin Bull Bars look on the 04-05 F-150's.

I main reason i like these trucks so much is the front end. If your going for functionality then i say the brush guard. Yet if its for looks then dont cover it up and just get a bull bar.

Honestly I can't stand the thought of someone actually buying a brush guard and using it to push things out of the way with trucks these nice. Sure maybe the ole 78 but not the 04/05 F-150!

I would never push something on purpose but I do go hunting and fishing alot and If I did hit say a tree or a honda I wouldnt dent up the front of my truck so bad. I'm getting it mainly for looks. EVerytime I see that ranchhand it makes me want one so bad. I emailed the guy on ebay that was selling them for other trucks to see if he had any for the f-150 so maybe he does.

haha a honda...the only honda i can think of that would be out in hunting season is the new wanna be hunter in his big ol honda ridgeline that case, you're gonna need the guard to push him out , better yet the tow hooks to haul him out. where are you at? up here in montana, the ranchhands are really popular and alot of the car shops (not dealers) ususally have 1-2 in stock...any places in your town who may carry?

I live in Wilson arkansas and I dont think anyone around here carries them. It's a little town where you drive in and you drive out. I may go to jonesboro(about a 45 min drive) which is the biggest town around here to a place that carries all kinds of car and truck stuff. Theres a couple places in memphis that may carry them also. Memphis is about 45 mins away also. Hmmm, maybe i'll just get the phone number and call them. My friend went to the place in jonesboro to get a brush guard and he said they didnt have any then but that was last year and maybe they could order me one. I'm determined to get a ranchhand grille guard
