Thanks for the pics man... They look 75% awesome but I'm really bummed out about the lump. Kind of looks like a tail light off of a Silverado or something with that lump-o-matic there.

Do the lower LEDs (beneath the reversing lights) illuminate with brake depression? Also, are the reversing lights LED as well?

Thanks a bunch man!!!

Does the "bump" have lights in them? Are they there to supliment the turn signals or brake light?
From the picture, it seems that they use standard 5mm leds which are visible but not too bright espicially for auto use. Automotive OEM LED applications use a higher watage and much brighter LED.

The "bump" has faux-LEDs in there and the backup lite area is just a hole that accepts the standard OEM bulb assy.,, the 16 LEDs are ALOT brighter than the stock lights I mite add.
After studying the lights more I do believe it will not be hard to remove the LED assy. and reinstall them in the OEM housings to rid myself of the bump,
I will keep you posted.

Nice jobyob2kanobe! You might have a sharp looking light if you can get the leds into the stock headlamp.

Nice... be careful on the 'transfer'. Sounds like it could be an expensive 'test' if it were to break.

Keep us posted!

Yeah I might take a crack at making my own board and using high output LEDs in the future.

I havent completed the transplant yet however I have obtained a spare set of OEM tail lites to work with. It doesnt look too difficult to disect the LED assembly from the APC units and reinstall in the OEM enclosures. My work is real busy right now and I probably wont have the time to finish this mod untill next month sometime. I will keep you posted.

I was watching an episode of Two Guys Garage the other day and they were ricing out a Focus. At the end of the episode they showed these:

The site is: http://www.spiderlite.com/. I really liked these because you can keep the stock light and get the benefits of LED's. These look better than the 3157 replacement LED's, but I am having a hard time getting over the price. The 5 arm models are $44.99, and the 3 arm model are $34.99. After looking at the complete lights that are ~$300, that seems pretty reasonable.
