Best locking gas door?

Best locking gas door?

I have a 05 fx4 super cab and i want a locking gas door . but i cant find one and i dont want the electric one eather i just want it to look good and to lock so no won can steal my gas. can some one please help i need it asap.

I'm not sure about a door, but you should be able to pick up a locking gas cap at your local auto parts store.

I went with a locking gas cap... Search here and you'll find the Ford P/N... cheap and easy fix...

hmmm, I wonder if that would be a another possible location for an actuator lock tied into the key fob.

I haven't looked up there around the fill tube to see how crowded it is.

thanks for the site but i dosent say it will fit a 05 f150 so ill call on mon and find out.

I got the black locking one also. Check out my gallery for more pics of the fuel door. I only paid $65 with tax at the California Car Cover Co. in Chatsworth CA.

yup, I bought the same one & it works great. Just keep some WD-40 in the lock so the tumblers don't bind up.

Comes with a bracket that slides on to the existing hinge. Four screws hold the bracket to the fuel door. The door has a recess where the bracket goes so it will sit flush when closed. No Glue. I did have to grind down the tip of the latch to get it to fit into the catch without binding. Hopefully, they got work out on the current ones their sending out.
