I drove around with the leveling kit and OEM tires for a while before I got my BFG's on. It didn't look any worse than a stock front end and small tires. Just get the leveling kit and 33's. It will look like a 4x4 then. Tell everyone you took off your 4x4 sticker and hope they don't go looking for the transfer case.

Great!

That is exactly what I was looking for! Would you mind giving me a tire size? 285/70-17? I know that's what someone mentioned previously. Your truck looks great!

Why would he do that? Who cares if he puts 33's and a leveling kit on his 4X2 and admits to it??? Why would he have to say its a 4X4?

Naw tell them that. and when your 4x4 buddies that you lied to tell you to go through some slick stuff, you'll be in quite a bind, looking like a BIG IDIOT!

I don't see why you would lie about what you have, if I had a 2wd truck I'd be sporting it and be like yeah I didn't want 4wd because I want to pre-runner my truck out.

and LYING about what your truck is any better?

Here is a perfect example of a pre-runnered F-150 and it doesn't have a bull dog look to me.

Ok ive seen two suspension kits for the 05 2WD. I know people have talked of a leveling kit, but i'm looking into a suspension kit. I've got an 05 2WD screw as well. Does the 6/3 kit then make the truck level at the 4x4 height? I saw one of those for sale as well as the fabtech 6inch kit. Will the fabtech still not be level despite the 6 inch lift? I want the truck to sit a little bit higher, but i dont want it that jacked up. Thx...

What is exactly the Pre runnerlook??? Is it that the front tires stick out more than the back? If so, are there any lifts, besides leveling kits, for 2wd trucks that do not do this?
