From dealer stock....?

I just heard a radio add saying Ford will give you $4,000 cash back if you buy from dealer stock. A question for you who ordered your trucks. Were you given the promo cash deals that were in effect even though you ordered your truck? Once your ordered truck hit the lot, was it considered "dealer stock?". Waiting to order an "06.

The way I understand it, all the "incentives" are VIN specific...

If you are refering to my post, I believe that depending on the VIN (vehicle identification number) there will be different incentives (rebates, cash back, etc) for the vehicle...thus not all vehicles have the same incentives...just something I noticed when I was buying my truck...dealers please chime in if I am wrong in my observation.

I ordered my truck on April 30th and picked it up on June 15th. The current incentives were the ones that I got. They totalled $3500. $2000 dealer cash back, $1000 for financing through Ford Credit and $500 for that home depot deal.

I'm not sure if it was considered "dealer stock" but I think whatever incentives are available at the time you purchase, you should get them.

Check out the ford websites to see the current incentives.

I wasn't really in the market for a new truck when I bought mine, but I knew the Fleet Manager at my local Ford dealer. Ended up w/ a 2004 150 XL. Sticker was $23,300.........paid $22,300 & then got $4500 knocked off by Ford. Kinda stole the thing if ya ask me!!!!

Dealer stock generally means delivery must take place during the period of the rebates, whether actually from your dealer's inventory, they get it from another dealer or if the truck you ordered arrived and was delivered during that period. If you order a truck during the period, but it does not arrive during it, it is not in dealer stock and does not qualify.
