Talking Kenwood DDX-7015 INSTALLED!!!!!

Wow this thing is awesome!!! I got it in yesterday and put it in within a few hours. I don't have any add-ons yet. I have the KHD-710 MP3 Keg on the way, it will probably be here next week. I'll probably get a PS2 Slim and put in the center console next. But the features and posibilities of this unit are pretty incredible. I'm sure it isn't as nice as some of the high end Eclipse units but this one definitelly fits the bill!!!

I've been looking at them pretty hard too. My current head unit is acting up and I'm hoping that it dies soon so I can put one of these babies in.

Man, I keep seeing those things and I think I'm probably going to have to get one. Mods are going to be more expensive than the truck... lol

That is exactly what I want where did you get it and how much?
I love the way they sit in the double din flush. One of those fold out floppy ones wouldnt last a day in my truck the kind of driving I do and as rough as these trucks ride (seriously).

Those indash video units are were its at for our rides. I think they make a 100 percent difference in the interior.

Looks Great!

The new DDX 7017 is supposed to have better graphics and support jpg. inputs I am waiting for it then I will take the plunge. My wife will be pissed.

Thanks for the comments!! It really is a sweeeeet unit! It's just so damn neat, so many possibilities! Ok to answer all of your questions:

vader716: It does not come with navi, you have to install the unit pictured below it to use navigation, it plugs into the RGB input on the back of the headunit.

misato: The Keg I got is what is pictured here, it is the 10GB version (that's a lot!) The drive is on that card looking thing, it can be removed and plugs into a unit that stays with your computer and uses your USB port to transfer the music. They also make a 20GB version but it is not sold new anymore that I could find....only ebay. And the headunit plays DVD's/CD's/MP3 CD's/VCD's Check out THIS for the full description

sandslinger450: I got it off Ebay for $862 shipped. New from crutchfield is $1200 plus S&H, but the ebay units are mostly refurbished. But let me tell you, I cannot tell it is not new!! It came in a new box, new packaging, new wires, new manual, hell you could even look at the screen and it had absolutely no scratches or anything. I got it from seller name "leathercraft" and HERE is the link to my auction.

Thrill Racing: This years model is the DDX8017 according to kenwoods 2005 eXcelon PDF file. The main difference I think is the GUI (graphical user interface) It looks a lot better than mine, and has some more features.

Hope this answers some of your questions!!!!
