Question TC Drain Plug

Hey Guys,

I was changing the oil yesterday on my '05 Lariat, and noticed a rubber plug on the bell housing which should give me access to the TC drain plug. I thought that Ford didn't put these in after some time in 2002. Maybe they started in '04 with the new tranny?

Nope, there still isn't a converter drain plug. It's just cheaper to use the same housing than to make a new one that doesn't have an access for (what would be) the torque converter drain plug.
